Who you're dealing with

Lerabase is operated by DriverJobz Inc., a Delaware corporation located at 2803 Philadelphia Pike, Office Suite B/422, Claymont, DE 19703. In these terms, “Lerabase”, “we”, and “us” mean DriverJobz Inc.

Lerabase is a U.S. transportation-industry platform: a jobs marketplace, a permanently free public directory of service providers, and a professional community. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

The platform is still being built, and these terms describe it as it actually works today. As features launch, this page is updated before they apply to you.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms are the entire agreement between you and DriverJobz Inc. about the platform. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor if the business changes hands.

Who can use Lerabase

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract in the United States. If an identity check shows that a person is under 18, the check stops and those images are deleted immediately.

You agree to give accurate information about yourself and to keep it current. One person, one account — don't create accounts for other people and don't present yourself as someone you aren't.

A single account may hold more than one role (for example, a driver who also owns a service business). That is allowed and expected.

Your account and sign-in

Day to day you sign in with your confirmed email and password. If you cannot use your password, you may request a single-use email code. Google and Microsoft sign-in may also be offered when those providers are active. Your mobile number is confirmed at signup and used again for recovery and sensitive account actions — deleting your account, changing your number, and identity checks.

Anyone who controls your email, password, or phone number may be able to reach your account, so keep them secure and tell us immediately if you lose control of any of them.

You are responsible for everything done through your account.

What Lerabase is not

Lerabase is not a staffing agency, not an employer, not a recruiter, and not a party to any agreement you reach with anyone you meet here. We do not place workers, we do not screen candidates on an employer's behalf, and we do not guarantee that any job, hire, or business relationship will result from using the platform.

Hiring decisions, employment terms, pay, and compliance with employment, transportation, and safety law are entirely between the parties involved. Employers remain responsible for their own obligations, including any background checks, drug and alcohol testing, licensing, and equal-opportunity requirements that apply to them.

Lerabase does not provide DOT-compliant employment applications, driver qualification files, §391.23 employment-history inquiries, Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse queries, or PSP reports. Employers hiring CDL drivers remain fully responsible for those obligations.

Everything here is self-reported

Profiles, job posts, directory listings, credentials, and every other piece of content on Lerabase are supplied by the users who create them. We do not verify that they are accurate, complete, current, or lawful, and we are not liable for them.

A verified shield means an identity check was completed for that person. It confirms who someone is — not how skilled, safe, qualified, solvent, or trustworthy they are. It is never an endorsement or a recommendation by Lerabase.

Always confirm the things that matter — licenses, insurance, operating authority, safety records, pay, and terms — directly with the other party before you rely on them.

You are responsible for what you post and you keep legal liability for it. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

Lerabase is not a consumer reporting agency under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing on the platform is a consumer report or an investigative consumer report. The verified shield and anything else you see here may not be used to establish a person's eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing, or any other purpose covered by that Act. Employers who need a background check must obtain one from a consumer reporting agency and follow that Act's notice, authorization, and adverse-action requirements themselves.

Disputes between users are between those users. You release DriverJobz Inc. from claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising out of or connected with any dispute between you and another user. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code section 1542, which says: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.”

Identity verification and biometric data

Identity verification is optional — you choose to start it and you can stop at any time. If you choose it, you photograph your government-issued ID and complete a live face check with your camera. To do this we collect biometric identifiers and biometric information: a scan of your facial geometry taken from the photo on your ID and from the live check. We collect it for one purpose only — to confirm that you are a real, living person and that you are the person shown on your ID.

We use Google to read the printed text on your ID, and Amazon Web Services to run the live face check and the comparison. They act as our service providers for this purpose, and by starting verification you consent to that disclosure.

We do not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from your biometric identifiers or biometric information. We do not disclose them to anyone other than the service providers named above, except as required by law or with your separate written consent.

Retention schedule and destruction guidelines: your ID images and face-check images are permanently destroyed 30 days after a verification decision, or when the purpose for collecting them has been satisfied, or within three years of your last interaction with Lerabase — whichever comes first. Destruction runs automatically every day. If a submitted ID shows the person is under 18, the check stops and the images are destroyed immediately. We do not retain facial-recognition templates after a check completes.

We store and protect biometric data using the reasonable standard of care for our industry, and at least as protectively as we handle other confidential and sensitive information.

Breach response: if this biometric data is ever involved in a security breach, we notify the people affected and any authorities the law requires without unreasonable delay, as our written biometric policy (Privacy Policy) sets out.

Texas residents: your consent is given before any photograph or face scan is captured, as the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act requires.

Rules of the road

Don't post false, misleading, or fraudulent information, don't impersonate anyone, and don't post jobs or listings you aren't authorized to post.

Don't post content that is unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, hateful, or that infringes someone's rights. Job posts must comply with equal-opportunity law.

Don't scrape, bulk-download, resell, or systematically copy the directory or member data. Don't use bots or automated tools against the site, attempt to defeat its security, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.

Don't use Lerabase to send unsolicited marketing, spam, or chain messages.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without notice where the situation calls for it.

If the law of the state where a job is located requires a posting to include a pay range, benefits summary, or similar disclosure, the employer must provide it and it must be accurate. Employers are responsible for their postings complying with pay-transparency, equal-opportunity, fair-chance, and advertising laws. Don't post age limits, citizenship preferences, or blanket criminal-history exclusions, and don't use any protected characteristic — race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law — as a screening criterion. Lerabase does not review postings for legal compliance.

Employers must not use the verified shield or anything else on Lerabase as a substitute for a background check, and must not treat it as a consumer report.

We're not obliged to monitor content, and reviewing or removing some content doesn't mean we've reviewed any other content.

Text messages

DriverJobz Inc. sends one-time security codes by SMS when you request them for signup, recovery, or sensitive account actions. Message frequency varies with your use. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Marketing texts are separate and strictly opt-in; you can turn them off in Account settings or by replying STOP. The full SMS program terms live on the Privacy notice & SMS terms page.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using Lerabase or of any purchase.

Your content

What you post stays yours. By posting it, you give Lerabase permission to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the platform — for example, showing your public profile card, your job post, or your directory listing. That permission ends when you remove the content, except where we must keep records for legal compliance.

The Lerabase name, logo, and design are ours. Don't use them without written permission.

If you believe something on Lerabase infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected], or to DriverJobz Inc., 2803 Philadelphia Pike, Office Suite B/422, Claymont, DE 19703. Include the work you own, where the infringing material is, your contact information, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We remove infringing material, tell the person who posted it, and give them a chance to respond. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Security

We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform and your information secure — encryption in transit, access controls, scoped keys, and short retention windows for sensitive material. No online system is perfectly secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee that Lerabase will never be compromised.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to or use of your information. If we learn of a breach affecting you, we will notify you as required by law.

Provided as-is

Lerabase is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content on it is accurate.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriverJobz Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost income, lost data, or lost business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Lerabase is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Some states do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. If you are a New Jersey resident, the provisions of these terms limiting our liability, disclaiming warranties, or requiring you to indemnify us do not apply to the extent New Jersey law prohibits them.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

If you cause a problem

You agree to cover DriverJobz Inc. for claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your use of the platform, or your breach of these terms.

This does not apply to any part of a claim caused by our own acts or omissions, and it does not apply where the law does not allow it. We will tell you promptly about any such claim, let you control the defense with lawyers of your choosing, cooperate with you at your expense, and we will not settle a claim you are defending without your agreement.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or creates risk for other people. Some records — consent history in particular — are kept after deletion, because U.S. texting rules require us to be able to prove that consent existed.

We never keep your ID images or the contents of your documents.

A final account snapshot and a log of verification activity (timestamps, IP address, and reviewer actions) are also kept for legal-compliance and fraud-prevention purposes.

Changes to these terms

As the platform grows, these terms will change. We update the version and date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we tell you inside the product before they take effect. Continuing to use Lerabase after a change means you accept it.

Lerabase is free to use today. If paid features launch, we will update these terms before they apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and DriverJobz Inc. agree to their jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section takes away the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of the state where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local small-claims court.
