What Lerabase is

Lerabase is a web platform for the U.S. transportation industry. It brings together three things that today live in different places: a jobs marketplace connecting drivers and transportation professionals with employers, a permanently free public directory of the businesses that serve the industry — repair shops, insurers, training schools, and more — and a professional community layer where the people doing this work can find each other.

The company behind it is DriverJobz Inc., a Delaware corporation. The platform operates at driverjobz.com.

Why verified identity

Hiring in transportation runs on trust, and online it is very hard to know who you are actually talking to. Lerabase answers that with identity verification: a member can choose to confirm who they are with a government-issued ID and a live face check, and a verified shield then appears on their profile.

Verification is always optional and always the member's choice to start. It confirms one thing only — that a real person is who they say they are. It is not a background check, a credit check, or an endorsement of anyone's work history.

What Lerabase is not

Lerabase is not a staffing agency, a recruiter, or an employer of anyone who uses it. We do not place people in jobs, we are not party to any hiring decision, and we do not vet employers or job postings on anyone's behalf.

Everything members write about themselves — experience, endorsements, equipment, company details — is self-reported. We say so throughout the site rather than implying a level of checking we do not perform. The one exception is the verified shield, which reflects a check we do run.

The directory stays free

The public service-provider directory is free to browse and free to be listed in, permanently. That is a deliberate commitment, not an introductory offer.
