For everyone
Your photos: what we keep, what we delete, and when
ID and face-check photos delete themselves 30 days after a decision.
Your ID photos and the face-check picture are used for one thing: verifying you. They are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after a decision. That window exists only so a person can double-check a disputed result.
We never create or store facial-recognition data — no 'faceprints', no face templates, nothing that could identify your face later. What we keep after deletion: the simple result (verified or not) and the details printed on your document, like license class and expiration date.
During the check, Google's document reader extracts the text printed on your ID, and Amazon's face-check service confirms you're a real, live person matching the ID photo. Their paid services do not use your data to train AI models. The full details are in our privacy notice.
If a submitted ID shows someone under 18, the check stops and those images are deleted immediately — Lerabase is for adults only.
