For everyone

Who can see your profile and when

The privacy ladder, in plain words: public card, connections, and employers each see something different.

Your profile is hidden completely — to everyone — until you've both verified your identity and finished building it (Stage 2). Nobody appears on Lerabase unverified.

Once it's live, there are three levels. Level one, anyone on the internet: a limited public card with your first name and last initial, your general role and category, your general area (not your exact city), the verified shield if you're verified, your years of experience, and your headline. Nothing else — no contact info, no credential details, no equipment, no safety self-report, no seeking status.

Level two, signed-in connections (arriving in a later update): more detail — your endorsements, equipment, route preference, and seeking status. Nobody has connections yet, so this level shows nothing to anyone today; it's built and ready for when it does.

Level three, verified employers browsing or searching: the full hiring-decision card — everything a connection sees, plus your exact city/state and your credential status (current, expiring soon, or expired — never the exact dates) and your license class. Full documents and identity details stay in the Vault and only move with a grant you approve yourself, in a future update.

Your public card is discoverable by search engines by default once your profile goes live — you can turn that off with one tap from your profile any time; your profile still works and is still shareable by direct link either way. Your profile's web address (its "slug") is random, never based on your name or phone number, so it can't be guessed.

Every time someone views your profile, we count it — free, from day one, right on your dashboard: how many views, and who most recently looked (when we know who they are).
