For workers
Your documents
Keep your license, medical card and other papers safe in My secure documents. Only you can see them.
Open My secure documents from the menu. The page lists the papers we suggest you keep, like your license, your DOT medical card, a TWIC card, endorsement papers and training certificates. Each one shows if you added it and if it is current, close to running out, or expired.
Adding is optional. Add what fits your work. A mechanic and a bus driver keep different papers.
To add one, tap Add. Pick what it is, add a picture (JPEG or PNG) or a PDF, and add its dates if it has them. A license can have a front and a back, so you can add up to four files. Each file can be up to 10 MB.
You can keep up to 20 documents. The page shows how many, like 3 of 20. When it is full, delete one to make room. A renewal never uses a second place.
Choose who may see it right on the same screen. Share when I approve a request means an employer can see it only after you approve their request. Never share (Private) means no one ever can. A background report is always Private. You can change this later on the document's own page.
Right now nobody can open your documents. You will approve each request before anyone sees a thing. Service businesses can never ask for your documents.
We check each file before we save it. We save a picture again as a JPEG, which removes the place it was taken and other hidden details. We refuse a PDF that has a script, an attachment or a password.
To renew a paper, open it and use Renew or replace. Add the new file and the new dates. The old picture is deleted and only its dates stay.
To delete a paper for good, open it and tap Delete document. That cannot be undone.
