What "Workspace Owner" means

The one person who controls the organization — and how the role moves to someone else, safely.

Every Company or Recruiting Company Workspace has exactly one Owner. This is a platform-control role, not a Lerabase claim of legal ownership. Owners and Admins may manage the company profile, protected proof, locations, invitations, and clients, while only the Owner may change Workspace roles or transfer ownership.

Independent Recruiters do not have a Workspace Owner role. They remain one verified person and may later add a separately verified Recruiting Company without losing the personal account.

Ownership transfer is a guarded self-service action. It can go only to an active, identity-verified Admin after fresh risk confirmation, and it never moves billing ownership.

The sole Owner must transfer before leaving or closing the account. If access is lost, an eligible verified Admin may open Owner recovery; named human review freezes ownership, billing ownership, deletion, and team removals until the case is decided.
