No US mobile? Use an authenticator app

An authenticator app on your phone makes the codes we would text you.

At Join, under the phone number, tap No US mobile number? Use an authenticator app instead.

Get a free authenticator app, like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. In the app, tap the plus button and scan the square on the screen. Can't scan it? Type the key instead.

Type the 6 digit code the app shows. The app makes a new code every 30 seconds. At Join, its code takes the place of the text code.

Keep the app on a phone you have with you. If you lose it, the Lost your phone? link starts account recovery.
