How we check people

What the ID check shows, and what it does not.

Every person here passed an ID check. Every job comes from a checked person or a verified business.

Every person passes the ID check before others can find them. Here is how it works:

1. The person takes photos of a government ID.

2. They do a short live face check with their camera.

3. The system reads the ID and checks that the face matches.

4. A person at Lerabase looks at any check the system cannot settle alone.

ID check passed means a person's government ID and live face were checked.

It does not prove job skills, a clean record, or insurance. It does not mean a person is safe. Lerabase does not certify job skills. It does not prove who legally owns a business or that it has insurance. It does not say if a worker is an employee or a contractor. It does not say if anyone follows the rules.

Lerabase never gets a person's background report, driving record, drug test, or Clearinghouse result. We do not read, score, or keep one.

Every other fact on a page is self-reported. The person or business wrote it, and Lerabase did not prove it.

We delete the ID photos 30 days after the answer. Read Your photos: what we keep, what we delete, and when for the details.

Lerabase is not a staffing agency. It does not hire, pay, or place anyone. Lerabase does not replace an employer's own legal hiring duty.

If something looks wrong, use Report something on the page. A person at Lerabase reads every report.
