How Network works

The feed, its four views, who can read and write, and how to find posts.

Network is where people in transportation share tips, questions and news.

1. Open Network from the menu. The feed opens with the newest posts first.

2. Pick a view. Latest shows every post you may read. Following shows people and businesses you follow, and your connections. Groups shows posts from your groups. Industry news shows news links people shared.

3. To find something, type a word in the Network search box and press Search. It finds posts, topics and groups.

4. Tap a topic on a post to open its page. Press Follow topic to hear about new posts in it. Press Unfollow topic to stop.

5. Press Save on a post to keep it for later. Press it again to take it off your list.

6. To stop seeing someone, open the menu on their post and press Mute. They are not told.

7. If a post breaks the rules, open its menu and press Report. Pick a reason and send it.

Anyone can read a Public post, even without signing in. Members only posts are for people who passed the ID check.

To post, comment, react or join a group, you pass the ID check. This is the same in every role. You do not need a public page first. Without one, your posts show your first name and last initial.

When it worked, the feed shows the posts for the view you picked.

Do you see Pass the ID check to post, comment and join groups? Finish your ID check, then come back.

Do you see Posting opens at launch? Writing is not open yet. You can still read every view.

Signed out? You see each post and its first two comments. Press Join to comment to join Lerabase.
