Approvals and codes

Every yes needs a fresh code, from a text or your authenticator app.

To approve a request to share your documents you type a one time code. We send it as a text to the phone on your account, or you can use the code from your authenticator app. We never send this code by email.

Each yes needs its own code. A code you used before does not work, and a code works for about ten minutes. Declining needs no code.

If a text does not come, use your authenticator app. If you have neither a confirmed phone nor an app, the page says so. Add one in your account settings, then come back. A request waits 7 days, and we add up to 7 more days once if you have no way to get a code.

We never ask you for a code anywhere else. If someone asks for your code, do not give it. Decline the request.
