For everyone
Ask for an appeal
If we paused your account or took something from you, a person looks again.
You can ask for an appeal when a decision took something from you, such as pausing your account. A person on the Lerabase team looks again. A computer never decides.
You have 30 days to ask. The page shows the last day. An ID check that was not approved has 14 days.
1. Open the Support request that tells you about the decision. If your account is paused, sign in and it opens by itself.
2. Press Ask for an appeal.
3. Tell us why you think we got it wrong. This is optional.
4. Add one picture if it helps. We remove hidden details such as where it was taken. Do not show bank or Social Security numbers.
5. Press Ask for an appeal.
It worked when the page says your appeal is waiting. We answer within 7 business days, and we tell you by email.
Lerabase is a small team for now, so the same small team may look again. Once more people decide, a different person looks at your appeal.
If we change the decision, we put back exactly what we took, and your account works again. If we keep it, the decision is final.
You can ask once for each decision. After the last day, the page says when the time ended. You can still send a help request.
For an ID check that was not approved, open your ID check and press Ask for an appeal. We answer within 5 business days. If we change the decision, a person checks your ID again on the same pictures. If your pictures are already deleted, start a fresh ID check instead. It does not use a try.
A paused account cannot post, message or apply. You can still sign in to see why, ask for an appeal, and ask for help.
If we removed your account, you see Your account was removed when you sign in. You have 30 days to ask for an appeal. Until then we keep your connections and groups, so a won appeal brings them back.
