DriverJobz Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how DriverJobz (a Delaware corporation) and its affiliates ("we," "us," or "our") collect, use, store, process, and share your personal information when you access our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through compliance with this expansive policy.

By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described herein. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. THE SCOPE OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To operate a highly secure logistics and transportation marketplace, we collect various categories of data, which may be provided by you directly, collected automatically, or obtained from third parties.

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Registration Data: Name, email address, physical address, mobile phone number, and password.
  • Driver Professional Data (Public/Semi-Public): Employment history, driving categories (e.g., CDL-A, Delivery, Rideshare), equipment experience, route preferences, endorsements, and personal statements.
  • Pre-Hire Packet Data (Highly Sensitive): To facilitate hiring, we allow Drivers to securely upload Date of Birth (DOB), 10-year Address History, full Driver's License numbers, Medical Cards, and Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs).
  • Employer Data: Company name, individual fleet owner name, Employer Identification Number (EIN), job descriptions, and compensation details.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps.
  • Location Data: General location data derived from your IP address to facilitate local job matching.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device) to maintain session integrity, remember preferences, and analyze Platform performance.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION (BROAD PERMISSIONS)

We use the information we collect at our discretion for a variety of business and commercial purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Platform Operation: Creating accounts, displaying profiles, and facilitating the 1-Click Apply system.
  • Algorithmic Matching: Utilizing your data to feed our proprietary matching algorithms to suggest Drivers to Employers and Jobs to Drivers.
  • Security & Verification: Using SMS to send One-Time Passcodes (OTP) for identity verification and to authorize the release of Pre-Hire Packets.
  • Communications: Sending you administrative emails, platform updates, and alerts regarding expiring licenses.
  • Monetization & Analytics: Analyzing user behavior to improve the platform, develop new features, and manage future billing/subscription services.
  • Legal Defense: Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims, and cooperating with law enforcement or DOT audits where required by law.
3. INFORMATION SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We do not sell your personal information. However, the core function of DriverJobz requires the sharing of data between Users. You consent to the following sharing protocols:

  • Public Stage: Driver profiles are visible in a restricted, anonymized format to verified Employers.
  • Connection/Application Stage: When a Driver applies for a job or accepts a connection request, basic contact information and work history are shared with that specific Employer.
  • The Pre-Hire Packet (Consent-Based): Highly sensitive data (Full DL#, DOB) is strictly gated behind 2-step verification. It is only released to an Employer when the Driver explicitly authorizes the request via the Platform. DriverJobz is not responsible for the Employer's handling of this data once it is authorized and transmitted.
  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors (e.g., cloud hosting (AWS), SMS gateways (Twilio), email deliverability services) solely to perform services on our behalf. These vendors are bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as a business asset.
4. MANDATORY SMS PRIVACY DISCLOSURE (A2P 10DLC)

To comply with telecommunications regulations regarding text messaging: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this SMS opt-in information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

5. DATA SECURITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures (including SSL encryption) designed to protect your data. However, no system is impenetrable. We cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your data. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you transmit sensitive documents (like Driver's Licenses and EINs) at your own risk.

6. DATA RETENTION POLICY

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy.

  • If you delete your account, your profile will be removed from active circulation.
  • However, we may retain certain data (including logs of consent, transaction histories, and connection records) in our secure archives for up to seven (7) years to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal, tax, or FMCSA record-keeping obligations.
7. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA & BEYOND)

  • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your data.
  • Right to Opt-Out: DriverJobz does not "sell" your data for monetary value, nor do we "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA. We will verify your identity before processing the request.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Platform is intended strictly for commercial and employment purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
